What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Find a way to serve – on missions, thru volunteering, etc... – Give yourself away with No Expectation of a Return.
What fad/trend do you hope makes a comeback? 80's perms and asymmetrical haircuts, please.
Why did you decide to become a coach? I love stress… and I get to hang out with amazing people.
What is something you will NEVER do again? Attempt knitting? Up for ANYTHING else, though.
What are some of the events in your life that made you who you are today? Two bouts with cancer in junior high and high school and four ACL tears in college.
Who is your favorite professional sports team and/or athlete? Green Bay Packers – My husband bleeds green, so I guess I got it by osmosis.
What is/was your favorite article of clothing that you have ever owned? Had an awesome pair of animal print heels, but I stomped too hard during a game… sadly, they are no more.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Best - came from my mom: "All that glitters isn't gold, but all that is gold doesn't flitter." Worst - is "Coaches can't always be transparent."
What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten? Haggis while in Scotland – Wasn't bad!!
What mythical creature do you wish actually existed? House Elves that magically clean and cook overnight… you wake up and "Poof"! All is in order and ready!
What is your favorite movie/TV show? Our little clan loves the Marvel movies – Haven't seen Wonder Woman yet, but I'm hearing good things!
What was the best thing to happen to you this year? "Best Things" happen every day – and, it's only June.
What is/was your favorite vacation destination? Mt. Hood, Oregon, with our family several years ago
What is your biggest superstition? I have routines, but no superstitions – Que sera, sera…
What kind of music do you listen to most frequently? Praise and worship or country.
If you could add one Summit League athlete to your team, who would you choose? Mikaela Shaw – Omaha; So glad she graduates! She was all about the blue-collar business.
What is your one "go to" stop (dining, entertainment, other) on any Summit road trip? The Hy-Vee Salad Bar in Macomb.
What phrase/quote do you most frequently use to inspire your team? "Basketball is what we do, but it's not who we are."
What is your biggest pet peeve? Entitlement or lack of gratitude. Always say thank you!!!
