ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's men's basketball uniform edged Western Illinois' softball uniform in the semifinal round of The Summit League's Uni Madness contest. The Jackrabbits received 51.58 percent of the vote, compared to 48.42 percent for the Fighting Leathernecks, to advance to the championship round.
South Dakota State will matchup against South Dakota, represented by its men's golf attire, in next week's championship round. Voting will begin Monday, July 31 and continue through Thursday, Aug. 3 with the champion announced on Friday, Aug. 4.
Summit League Uni Madness is a bracketed competition to determine the league's "hottest" summer look. Each league member nominated four uniforms with the one receiving the highest vote in the school voting round advancing as that institution's representative in the final field.
