DENVER 66, NORTH DAKOTA STATE 63
DENVER (AP) - Joe Rosga hit five 3-pointers and finished with 26 points and Daniel Amigo scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to help Denver beat North Dakota State 66-63 on Saturday.
Rosga was shot 7 of 12 from the field and Amigo tied his career high with three 3-pointers.
Ade Murkey made a layup to give Denver (11-14, 5-6 Summit League) a 64-57 lead with 3:16 to play, but the Pioneers missed both of their field-goal attempts, and committed four turnovers, from there. Paul Miller made 5-of-6 free throws in a 27 second span to pull NDSU (12-14, 4-7) within three with 61 seconds left, but neither team scored before the Bison missed two potential tying 3s in the final seconds.
Tyson Ward led North Dakota State with a career-high 28 points.
Rosga made a jumper and then a 3-pointer to cap a 9-2 spurt that gave Denver a 55-42 lead with nearly seven minutes to play. Rocky Kreuser answered with a 3-pointer, Paul Miller and Tyson Ward each converted a 3-point play and Deng Geu made 4-of-4 free throws to trim NDSU's deficit to 60-55 with four minutes remaining.
SOUTH DAKOTA STATE 85, ORAL ROBERTS 75
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Mike Daum had 27 points and 14 rebounds and made all 11 of his foul shots to help South Dakota State beat Oral Roberts 85-75 on Saturday night.
David Jenkins scored 16 points for the Jackrabbits (22-6, 10-1 Summit League), who won their fifth straight and 13th of the last 14. Skyler Flatten made all six of his shots from the field, including three 3s, and added 15 points and six assists. It was Daum's seventh straight double-double.
South Dakota State led 43-25 at halftime and had its largest lead at 69-45 with 8:50 to go. Oral Roberts had a late run to close the gap in the final four minutes but never got closer than 10.
Austin Ruder and Sam Kearns had 14 point apiece and Emmanuel Nzekwesi and Jontray Harris added 11 each for the Golden Eagles (10-18, 4-7).
South Dakota State has a one-game lead over South Dakota (9-2) for first place in the conference standings.
OMAHA 90, FORT WAYNE 85
OMAHA (AP) - Mitchell Hahn scored 21 points and Daniel Norl added 19 points and Omaha beat Fort Wayne on the strength of 12 3-pointers for 90-85 on Saturday night.
Hahn and Norl scored 14 of Omaha's last 15 points and Hahn went 7 of 10 from the foul line and Norl made all four of his free throws in the final 2:16 of play to seal the win.
Xzavier Taylor's jump shot with three minutes left gave Fort Wayne a 79-75 lead before Norl made a layup and Hahn's free throw and dunk with 1:50 left put Omaha ahead for good.
Zach Jackson scored 16 points for Omaha (9-17, 4-6 Summit) which made 27 of 54 shots.
Fort Wayne (16-12, 5-6) got 22 points from John Konchar, Bryson Scott scored 19, Kason Harrell, 16 and Taylor 10. The Mastodons made 15 of 39 (38.5 percent) from 3-point range but missed half their 12 free throws.
