SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the 12th time in his storied career, South Dakota State's Mike Daum was named The Summit League Player of the Week by league officials following a trio of Jackrabbit victories during the opening week of the men's college basketball season.

Daum recorded double-doubles in three home wins for the Jacks, who extended the nation's longest home-court winning streak to 23 games with wins over Grand Canyon, Alabama State and Bemidji State.

He increased his scoring output in each of the three games to start to final collegiate season, scoring 20 against the Antelopes, 23 against the Hornets and 26 against the Beavers. Daum averaged 12.3 rpg in dominating the glass in those three victories while adding nine assists.

• Scored at least 20 points and pulled down at least 11 rebounds in each of his team's wins

• Went 18-for-21 from the foul stripe during the week and leads all active Division I players with 608 career makes
