SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Two senior standouts shared the latest Summit League Player of the Week honor announced by league officials on Monday. South Dakota State's Mike Daum collected his second weekly honor of the season and 13th of his career, while Omaha's Zach Jackson garnered his first of the season and second of his career.

Daum averaged 26.7 ppg and 9.7 rpg to lead South Dakota State to a pair of wins at the Gulf Coast Showcase, while Jackson averaged 26.5 ppg and shot 68.2 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent from 3-point range during a 2-0 week for the Mavs.

Daum poured in a season-high 41 points in a 99-79 victory over UTSA to break SDSU's all-time scoring record and he currently sits third all-time on The Summit League scoring chart with 2,399 points. He also added two double-doubles to his league-leading total of five early in the season. Those double-doubles were a 28-point, 13-rebound effort in a loss to Tulane in the opening round and the 41-point, 10-rebound outing vs. the Roadrunners. Those 13 rebounds equaled his season-high that he has set three times during the first seven games.

Jackson scored 20 points in a road win at Bethune-Cookman, then notched a career-high 33 points, including a career-best six 3-pointers, in a home win over Montana State. Jackson added six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block during the two victories.
