SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
A pair of Summit League men's basketball sophomores were honored Thursday by CoSIDA as organization officials named Omaha's Matt Pile and Western Illinois' Kobe Webster to Google Cloud Academic All-District Teams. Pile was named to the District 7 Team and Webster landed a spot on the District 5. The teams were selected by a vote of sports information directors whose institutions are located within their respective districts.

These are the first inclusion on Academic All-District teams for Pile and Webster, who now advance to the Academic All-America ballot and will be considered for national accolades next month.

Pile is Omaha's sixth Academic All-District selection in men's basketball program history. The Mavericks have had two all-district picks in the Division I era. He carries a 3.90 grade-point average with a major in medicinal chemistry. He is a member of the UNO Dean's List and the Summit League Academic Honor Roll.
