SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Oral Roberts' Cody Burrows had a much better second round playing as an individual at the NCAA Men's Golf Austin Regional. The Golden Eagle senior climbed 21 spots in the standings thanks to an even-par 71 on his second loop around the University of Texas Golf Club. Burrows registered four birdies during his round after going without one during his opening-round 78 (+7) from Monday. His 36-hole total of 148 (+7) has him tied for 39th and third among the five individuals competing in the competition.

The Pioneers had a tougher day during their second round at the Stanford Regional where they fell from a tie for 10th in the team standings down to 12th place. Freshman Cal McCoy, the 2019 Summit League Championship MVP, was the top Pioneer for the second-straight day, carding a 73 (+3) to go with his opening-round 68 (-2). He is tied for 24th thanks to his 131 (+1) total. Classmate Esteban Missura posted a 75 (+5) in his second loop around the Stanford Golf Course to improve his score by a stroke. The third DU freshman competing this week, Carson Griggs, also logged a 75 (+5) and was even par with a 35 on the front nine.

As a team, DU shot a 300 (+20) after opening with a 288 (+8).
