SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Summit League was well represented on the final day of NCAA Regional play Tuesday. Even though Denver and Oral Roberts senior Cody Burrows did not advance to the NCAA Championship, both the Pioneers and one of the league's steadiest players from recent memory put together solid rounds on Tuesday to close out their seasons.

The Pioneers posted their best score of the NCAA Stanford Regional, shooting a 284 (+4) to best an opening-round 288 (+8) and second-round 300 (+20). Redshirt freshman Esteban Missura led that charge with a closing 69 (-1) while classmate Cal McCoy was the top finisher among the Pios, totalling a 212 (+2) to tie for 21st. McCoy carded a 71 (+1) during his final loop around the Stanford Golf Course.

Carson Griggs (73; +3) and John Sand (72; +2) joined Missura in turing in their top rounds of the 54-hole event to wrap up DU's season and first appearance in a regional since 2014.

Burrows backed up a 71 (+1) from Monday's second round at the University of Texas Golf Club with a 72 (+1) in what would be his final collegiate round. He ended the back nine with a birdie-barrage as he made four in his last five holes. He finished the 54-hole event in Austin tied for 34th with a 221 (+8) total.
