NORMAN, Okla. -- Oral Roberts and Purdue Fort Wayne were among 198 schools across all levels of collegiate golf to earn a team GPA of 3.0 or above, with 34 of those schools earning Presidents Special Recognition Honors, finishing with a team GPA of 3.5 and above. The Golden Eagles and Mastodons were both honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America with GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors.  For Purdue Fort Wayne, this is the sixth-consecutive season to earn the distinction.

The Mastodons also had a pair of seniors named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars as the duo of Callahan Elzey and Zach Schroeder was among five Summit League golfers to earn that distinction. Joining them on the list of 279 Division I selections were North Dakota State's Andrew Israelson, South Dakota State's Jacob Otta, and Western Illinois' Jackson Wetherbee.

To be eligible for GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors, a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year.

To be eligible for the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honor, individuals must be a junior or senior academically, participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0, and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
