SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver was predicted to win The Summit League's 2018 men's soccer title by the league's six head coaches. This marks the sixth consecutive season that the Pioneers have been tabbed by the coaches to win the championship.

The Pioneers, winners of at least a share of the last five regular season crowns, collected four of the possible five first-place votes. Rounding out the preseason league standings are Omaha, Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Oral Roberts and Purdue Fort Wayne.

Points were compiled on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, though each coach was not allowed to vote for their own team.

The 36th season of men's soccer in The Summit League begins August 24.
