SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- After a month of non-conference play, Summit League action is finally here.  Four of the league's six teams will all get their first taste of the regular season Saturday.

WEEKLY NOTEBOOK
• The league's hottest team, Oral Roberts, will entertain Purdue Fort Wayne at the Case Soccer Complex. The Golden Eagles have won five-straight matches and are unbeaten on their home pitch so far this season (6-0).
• ORU, who moved up to fourth in the latest United Soccer Coaches' West Region Poll, boasts the league's top-scoring offense, averaging 2.25 goals per game. The dynamic duo of Dante Brigida (7) and Reed Berry (5) rank one-two in the league in goals scored as well.
• Brigida picked up his second offensive player of the week award of the season Monday after scoring twice in a 4-3 overtime win against SIUE.
• The Mastodons arrive in Tulsa having split their last four matches after a 1-3 start to the campaign.
• Forward Alex Frank has scored a goal in three-straight matches and leads Purdue Fort Wayne with four tallies on the a season - a total that ranks third among Summit League players.
• Purdue Fort Wayne goalkeeper Tor Erik Larsen collected the third defensive player of the week award of his young career. The sophomore posted the Mastodons' first shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Green Bay.
• Denver and Eastern Illinois will tangle in the other Summit League match this Saturday. The Pioneers stay home for back-to-back games after opening the season with six straight on the road.
• DU was ranked 10th in the United Soccer Coaches' West Region Poll, which at 1-5-1 overall is a testament to the non-conference gauntlet the Pioneers played. 
• The Panthers bring some momentum with them to the Mile High City after netting a 3-2 overtime win against Belmont on Tuesday. Davi Girardi scored the game-winner in the 95th-minute, which was his first goal of the season.
• Omaha has two more non-conference matches before entering league play as the Mavericks play host to Cal State Northridge Friday before traveling to take on (19/24) Missouri State Tuesday.
• Omaha snapped a six-match winless streak to open the season with a 2-1 victory at (RV/-) Air Force last week.
• Western Illinois will also get a chance to face the ranked-Bears before league play commences. The Friday night match vs. Missouri State is the first of three non-league matches remaining for the Leathernecks.
• WIU opens league play Oct. 5 at Omaha.
