ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Parker Lawley was named as The Summit League's men's tennis player of the week for his performance Feb. 26-March 4.

Lawley nets his first award of the season after compiling a 2-0 singles record and gaining a victory in his lone doubles decision. Against Creighton, he was one of two SDSU wins with a straight-set (4 and 1) triumph over Brandon Lee at No. 4 singles. Facing Ohio Dominican, Lawley scored a straight-set (2 and 3) singles victory over Jeremy Mokry at the No. 4 position and was part of an 8-4 win at the No. 1 doubles position. Lawley improved to 5-4 in singles matches this season.
