SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Denver men's tennis athlete Mattia Ros and South Dakota women's tennis athlete Habiba Aly secured Summit League athlete of the week accolades after both went undefeated over the weekend.

Mattia Ros, Denver
Sophomore | Latisana, Italy

  • Recorded a 3-0 mark at the No. 1 spot in singles and at the No. 2 spot in doubles
  • Helped the Pioneers improve to 3-1 overall
  • Is 3-0 at home and 3-1 overall

Also nominated: Brandon Ancona (Valparaiso), Vinny Gillespie (Drake) 

Habiba Aly, South Dakota
Sophomore | Cairo, Egypt

  • Improved her overall singles record to 2-1 after going undefeated this past weekend
  • Won both singles matches at the No. 2 spot
  • Defeated Iowa State's No. 2 in the super tie-break after splitting a pair of 7-6 sets
