SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Illinois State men's tennis athlete Aleksa Lazarevic and Denver women's tennis athlete Bianca Mok claimed The Summit League's athlete of the week honors after finishing competition this weekend with perfect singles records. 

Aleksa Lazarevic, Illinois State
Freshman | Sabac, Serbia

  • Recorded a 4-0 mark in singles and a 1-1 record in doubles
  • Holds an overall team-best singles record (7-1) thus far this season
  • Owns a six-match winning streak in singles

Also nominated: Daniel Krulig (Denver), Chad Kissell (Valparaiso) 

Bianca Mok, Denver
Senior | Boise, Idaho

  • Improved her singles record to 2-0 at the No. 1 spot
  • Won both single matches in straight sets
  • Went 3-0 at the top spot in doubles
