SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –The Summit League Tennis Athlete of the Week accolades go to Drake's Tom Hands on the men's side and Denver's Arisha Ladhani on the women's side for helping their respective teams go undefeated during this past week's competitions. This is the first weekly honor of the season for Hands and second for Ladhani.

Tom Hands, Drake
Senior | Fulbourn, England

  • Was undefeated in both singles and doubles on the week, helping the Bulldogs win three matches in three days
  • Improved his singles mark to 8-1 and his doubles record to 6-3
  • Defeated his opponent from Indiana in straights sets and rallied back to defeat No. 25 Joseph Guillin of UC Santa Barbara to break a 3-3 tie and win the match

Arisha Ladhani, Denver
Redshirt Senior | West Vancouver, B.C.

  • Improved her singles mark to 3-1 after helping Denver defeat DePaul 7-0
  • Claimed the win at the No. 2 spot in straight sets
  • Helped the Pioneers win their sixth-straight match to push them to 6-1 overall
