North Dakota's Johnnie Carmichael-Plester and Isa Sullivan bring home the first tennis weekly honors for the Fighting Hawks since joining the league.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –North Dakota men's tennis athlete Johnnie Carmichael-Plester and women's tennis athlete Isa Sullivan secured this week's Summit League Athlete of the Week honors after strong performances this past week. Carmichael and Sullivan are the first Fighting Hawk tennis athletes to garner the award since joining the league. 

Johnnie Carmichael-Plester, North Dakota
Senior | Norwich, Great Britain

  • Finished the week 2-1 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles
  • Helped the Fighting Hawks go 2-1 on the week   

Isa Sullivan, North Dakota
Sophomore | Manhattan Beach, Calif.

  • Helped UND to its first two Summit League wins in program history
  • Went 3-0 in singles at the top spot of the lineup
  • Improved her overall singles record to 10-5 and doubles record to 8-5
