NDSU’s Renner and SDSU’s Koosman and Mack Earn Final #SummitOTF Weekly Honors of Season

ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State's Alex Renner and South Dakota State's Zach Koosman were named The Summit League Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, while South Dakota State's Monique Mack earned Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award for their performances during the week of May 2-8.

ALEX RENNER, NORTH DAKOTA STATE
Sr. // Watertown, S.D.

  • Earned his third Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award of the season
  • Ranks 14th in the nation with a first-place shot put of 63' 1.55" (19.24m) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays 
  • His new career-best shot put mark ranks first in the League and broke a meet and stadium record

ZACH KOOSMAN, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
Sr. // Tea, S.D.

  • Earned his first career Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award
  • Placed first in the high jump with a height of 7' 0.25" (2.14m) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays
  • His jump leads the League and ties for 35th in the nation this season
