SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Records were broken and top-25 world ranking marks were achieved by The Summit League track and field student-athletes this weekend. Because of their respective performances, North Dakota State's Adrian Harris and South Dakota's Chris Nilsen took home the athlete of the week accolades on the men's side while NDSU's Grace Zimmerman and Akealy Moton notched the award on the women's.

Harris won the 300m dash at the Bison Open after clocking a time of 34.16. His time in the event broke a 15-year-old school record and now ranks 43rd in the NCAA in the event this season. Nilsen took home the pole vault title at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet. He improved his NCAA lead by another centimeter vaulting 19-1 (5.82m). His mark at the meet improves his South Dakota program record for the second-straight week and ties for the 12th-best indoor mark in NCAA history. Nilsen is now tied for fourth this season in the world.

On the women's end, Zimmerman took home the 300m dash title with a time of 40.17. Her time in the 300m moved her to No. 9 all-time in NDSU history in the event. Zimmerman was also a member of the winning 4x400m relay team that clocked a league-leading time of 3:50.22 (3:47.21 converted).
