SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Just one week remains in the Summit League Women's Basketball regular season and berths into the Summit League Championship are still up for grabs. Of the eight spots available, six have already been taken. Thursday's action will go a long way in helping to shape the outlook of seeds and who might round out the top eight.

The Opening Tip

South Dakota State's senior guard Macy Miller continues to inch closer to The Summit League's all-time scoring record. Last week Miller averaged 20-points in the Jackrabbits two games to earn her 11th career player of the week honor, tied third most all-time. After scoring 40 points last week her career total sits at 2,199 points, just 79 total points shy of breaking Oral Roberts' Kevi Luper's career mark of 2,277, which was set between 2009-12. On the year Miller is averaging 17.2 points per game and she has at least three games left to play.

Nationally Ranked

The University of South Dakota fell out of the AP Top 25 for the first time in two weeks but remain in the USA Today/WBCA Top 25, with a No. 25 ranking. Both South Dakota and South Dakota State are are on the cusp of cracking the AP Top 25 as USD came in at No. 26 and SDSU at No. 27. If both teams enter the AP Top 25 it will be the first time in League history that two women's basketball teams are nationally ranked at the same time in any major poll.
