ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State midfielder Malley O'Brien earned The Summit League Offensive Player of the Week nod, while Western Illinois goalkeeper Ines Palmiero Herrera notched the Defensive honor.
O'Brien netted two goals, including the golden goal in the 104th-minute, to lead her team to a 2-1 victory over Oral Roberts. For Western Illinois, Palmiero Herrera recorded five saves in a shutout win over Fort Wayne for the team's first league victory.
