ELMHURST, Ill. – After garnering her second-consecutive Summit League Offensive Player of the Week award and the 14th of her career Monday, Oral Roberts' Laura Milos was named this week's Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Player of the Week.
Milos notched her 2,000 career kill Sunday against North Dakota State, becoming only the third student-athlete in #SummitVB history to reach the milestone. Currently, she sits 80 kills behind No. 2 on the league's all-time list.
This is the second time in ORU history in which a Golden Eagle has been recognized for the national weekly award. The first was Ksenija Kugler back in November of 1993. Milos was also named Volleyball Mob's Player of the Week on Tuesday, putting a bow on what was a historic weekend for the senior from Croatia.
The Golden Eagles (7-9, 4-0) picked up two road victories over South Dakota State and North Dakota State, with Milos leading the charge for ORU. Check out her full weekend stat line below.
