SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Omaha's sophomore middle blocker Anna Blaschko was selected as a member of the CoSIDA Academic All-District® team as announced by organization officials Thursday.
Blaschko was named to District 7's second team. She is a sophomore majoring in bioinformatics and boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.93. She is currently tied for fourth among league athletes in hitting percentage (.328). Blaschko has played in every set of the 2018 season. Among the Mavs she leads the team in total blocks (106), ranks second in hitting percentage and third in total kills (265) and kills per set (2.45).
The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Google Cloud Academic All-District recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
