SDSU’s King Named #SummitXC Women’s Athlete of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Rachel King received The Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance Sept. 6-12.

RACHEL KING, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE

  • Garnered her second career Athlete of the Week honor and first of 2016
  • Finished eighth with a time of 22:46.7 (6k) at the Oz Memorial
  • Helped lead team to a third-place finish in a field that included No. 26 Minnesota
