SDSU’s Donnay Named #SummitXC Women’s Athlete of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Emily Donnay earned The Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance Sept. 20-26.

  • Garnered her first career Cross Country Athlete of the Week award
  • Summit League's top finisher (66th) against a field of seven national-ranked teams at Roy Griak Invitational
  • Ran a time of 23:01.2 (6K), the league's fourth-best time this season, on a muddy and soft course
  • Recorded her second-best career time, just 12.3 seconds off career-best time set two weeks prior
