SDSU’s Donnay Named #SummitXC Women’s Athlete of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Emily Donnay was named Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance Oct. 11-17.

  • Received her second career Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor, both coming this season
  • Ran a personal-best and league-best time of 20:59.9 to place fifth at the Bradley Classic
  • Time broke her previous personal-best mark, set at the 2015 NCAA Midwest Regional, by over 58 second
  • Led team to a ninth-place finish out of a 31-team field that included five teams ranked in Midwest Region
