ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota's Megan Billington earned Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors for her performance during the Sept. 15-16 weekend.
MEGAN BILLINGTON, SOUTH DAKOTA

- Received her first career Athlete of the Week honor
- Recorded a personal-best time of 21:38.4 to finish as runner-up in a field of 183 competitors at Nebraska's Woody Greeno Invitational
- Her time was a school-record at the Pioneer Park course and the fastest in The Summit League this season
- Led the Coyotes to a first-place finish, topping a field that included Creighton, Iowa (No. 12 in Midwest Region), Kansas State, Nebraska and Omaha
