In a year where Summit League Track and Field athletes achieved tremendous amounts of success in competition and in the classroom, it should come as little surprise that the 2018-19 Summit League Male and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award honorees hail from that sport.

More than 860 runners competed in the festival this year, with 100 teams taking the course.

Both Peters and Rafuse had top-ten finishes in races featuring nationally-ranked opponents this past weekend.
