Ellig Sports Complex

The Ellig Sports Complex includes the Schlanser Track, two soccer fields and four softball diamonds. Completed in 1997 at an original cost of $2.3 million, the complex is home to the Bison outdoor track and field and softball programs. The NDSU softball diamond has dimensions of 200 feet down the left-field line, 210 feet to center field and 205 feet down the right-field line. There is an electronic scoreboard located above the right-center field fence and a full-sized infield tarp is available.
