Get to Know Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a fall Q&A feature profiling Summit League SAAC representatives. These SAAC representatives provide a glimpse into their personal life away from their sport and what it is like being a student-athlete.

In this week's installment, a junior defender on the North Dakota State women's soccer team, Mallory Fenske, is profiled.

What is your favorite vacation spot?  My cabin in northern Minnesota.

What is currently on your music play list? Glorious by Macklemore

What is your funniest memory from youth sports? The pigtails I rocked until 6th grade.

Which actor/actress would play you in a movie? Sophia Bush

What do you remember about your first college competition? That I was TERRIFIED.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up?  Mia Hamm, she was the best of the best.

Who is your favorite professional sports team? Minnesota Vikings

What are three things in life you couldn't live without? Chapstick, coffee, and tennis shoes.

Which three people would you want to have dinner with (current or historical)? Peter from The Bachelorette, Eric Church, and Teddy Roosevelt.

What is your favorite television show or movie? Grey's Anatomy.

What is the best advice you've ever received? Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you'll be criticized anyway.

What attracted you to your institution? The culture here, it's very much like a family.

What community service projects/organizations are you involved with outside of athletics? Volunteering through my church.

What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete? Our team's trip to Italy over spring break.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete? How to be a true team player.

What is your favorite spot on campus? The botany building.

What is your dream job/career? Sports statistician.

Your most prized possession is? My grandpa's record collection.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Seattle, Wash - there's something for everyone (mountains, ocean, city, etc.)

If you could have one superpower what would it be? The ability to breathe underwater because I'm not that great at swimming and then I'd never be scared of drowning ever again.
