Inaba
earns the Offensive Player of the Week award after the Westerwinds
defeated IUPUI 2-1 in overtime last week to remain in first place
in the league standings
with a perfect 6-0-0 record. Inaba scored the game-winner in the
seventh minute of the overtime period. She has scored the
game-winning goal in both of Western's last two matches.

Gurley
collects her third Defensive Player of the Week honor after posting
two shutouts last week for the Golden Eagles. She posted shutouts
against Northeastern State (1-0) and North Dakota State (0-0 2OT)
and only gave up one goal, a 1-0 loss to South Dakota State, in 290
minutes in net. Gurley collected a total of 18 saves in the three
matches. She leads the league with eight shutouts and has a 1.29
goals against average on the season.
