MEN

Darius Wolny, Western Illinois

Wolny earns Athlete of the Week honors after winning both the 100 and 200 back in season-best times at a dual meet at UIC on Wednesday. His time of 52.42 in the 100 back is the fourth-fastest in WIU history and ranks second in The Summit League this season. He also won the 200 back in 1:55.90, good for fourth place in the league this season.

Smith claims Athlete of the Week honors after swimming to a pair of first-place finishes in a dual meet at Evansville on Tuesday. She won both the 200 butterfly (2:12.04) and the 100 fly (1:01.20) to account for nearly 20 percent of her team's points at the meet. Both times rank in the Top 10 in The Summit League this season.
