NDSU's Martinez, ORU's Gurley Collect Weekly League Honors

Martinez
is named Offensive Player of the Week after recording two goals and
collecting one assist in two Bison victories last week. After
falling behind Creighton 2-0, NDSU rallied with three straight
goals. Martinez tallied the game-tying and game-winning goals and
assisted on the first goal by Candice D'Arcangeli. She leads the
team with four goals and 10 points on the season, and also leads
the Summit League in points.

collects Defensive Player of the Week honors posting two shutouts
and collecting a total of 24 saves, as the Golden Eagles went 2-1
last week. She recorded 5 saves in a 1-0 win over Oklahoma City and
four saves in a 2-0 win over Arkansas-Little Rock. In a 5-1 loss to
Stephen F. Austin, Gurley made 15 saves, against 29 shots, 20 on
goal, by the Lumberjacks. Gurley leads the league with 49 saves and
is three shuouts away from being the all-time leader at
ORU.
