Ruypers, Morgan Named Women's Soccer Players of the Week

garners Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading Western
to a 2-0 record this week. Ruypers had a goal and an assist in each
of the Westerwinds two victories to give her six points. Western
defeated Southern Indiana, 2-1 and also took out UW-Green Bay, 3-1.
With her goal against UW-Green Bay on Sunday, Ruypers is now tied
for the all-time career goals mark at Western Illinois.

Morgan
takes home Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording a
career high 11 saves in a 2-1 win over Northern Iowa Sunday. She
also collected one save in a 1-0 shutout of Bemidji State to give
her 12 saves for the week. Morgan had a .923 save percentage and
played all 180 minutes in recording two victories for the Bison.
She now has a career record of 14-7-1 at North Dakota
State.
