ORU's King Named Player of the Week

King
earns Player of the Week honors after leading the Golden Eagles to
a pair of wins last week to remain one of two undefeated teams in
Summit League play. In a 68-56 win at IPFW last Thursday, he was
three blocks shy of a triple-double, setting career highs in points
and blocks and tying a career high in rebounds. He finished with 21
points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks for his second double-double
of the season and the fourth of his two-year career. King followed
that up with 12 points on 55 percent shooting, three rebounds and
two blocks in a crucial win at Oakland on Saturday. For the week,
King averaged 16.5 points on 56 percent shooting, 7.0 rebounds and
4.5 blocks. He currently ranks fifth at ORU and 13th in The Summit
League in career blocks with 114.
