WIU's Davenport Selected as Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Davenport
collects the Player of the Week honor after helping the Westerwinds
to two key league victories over North Dakota State (72-67) and
South Dakota State (67-60) last week. Those two wins helped WIU
remain the only undefeated team in league play with a 5-0 record.
Davenport averaged 16 points in the two games, including scoring a
career-high 23 against the Jackrabbits. She also grabbed eight
rebounds against the Jacks and averaged six on the week. She scored
10 points to spark a 16-4 run in the first half against
SDSU.
