Boström
earns Athlete of the Week honors after winning both his singles and
doubles matches in a 5-2 loss to Drake last Saturday. At No. 2
singles, he beat Mauricio Ballivian 7-6 (7-5), 6-3. At No. 2
doubles, Boström teamed with Francisco Ortiz to defeat
Guilherme Marsiglia and Bokang Setshogo, 9-8 (7-4). The senior is
7-0 in singles and 8-1 in doubles during the 2007-08
season.

Recht receives
Athlete of the Week honors going undefeated in both singles and
doubles last week. In a Mastodon win over Austin Peay, she defeated
Mariana Pagan in straight sets at No. 1 singles, then teamed with
Sachi Janek at No. 2 doubles to defeat Alexandria Pyle and Michelle
Liew, 8-1. In a loss to Evansville, Recht was the only IPFW to
record a victory in singles play, defeating Lisa Kawamoto 6-4, 6-2
at the No. 1 slot. In doubles, she and Janek defeated Kawamoto and
Sara Wilhoite, 9-8 (7-4).
