Andy Kellogg, Oakland

Kellogg earns Athlete of the Week honors after winning three events and placing second in two others in a pair of dual meets last week. In a loss at Michigan State, he was part of the first-place 400 medley relay team (3:20.09) and placed second in both the 100 free (45.67) and 400 free relay (3:02.31). His time in the 100 free was a season best and ranks second in The Summit League this season. In a win over Kenyon College, Kellogg won the 100 breast (58.29) and 100 free (46.19), while his time of 1:56.59 in the 200 IM, an exhibition, would have won the event by nearly seven seconds.

Solan claims Athlete of the Week honors for the fifth time this season after winning four events and placing second in another in dual meets against Michigan State and Kenyon College last week. She won the 200 back (2:04.70) and placed second in the 200 IM (2:07.75) at Michigan State. In the win over Kenyon, Solan placed first in the 1,000 free (10:22.83) and the 200 back (2:06.96) and was part of the winning 400 free relay team that recorded a time of 3:32.11. It was the first time this season Solan swam the 1,000 free and she posted the second-fastest time in the league this season.
