WIU's David DuBois Claims Initial Player of the Week Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois' David DuBois earned The Summit League's initial Player of the Week award after averaging 22 points and seven rebounds on 54.3 percent shooting in two games at the 100 Club Classic, where he was named to the all-tournament team. The senior led the Leathernecks in scoring both nights, including a 26-point performance with eight rebounds Saturday vs. Northern Illinois. On opening night, DuBois scored 18 points and pulled down six boards in 22 minutes vs. Kennesaw State. In the two games to date, DuBois has accounted for 40 percent of WIU's scoring.
