Oakland's Johnathon Jones Named Summit League Player of the Week

Ill. Oakland University guard Johnathon Jones was named The
Summit League Player of the Week. Jones earned his first career league award
after averaging 23 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals
as Oakland went 1-2 at Oregon, Syracuse and Iowa. Jones scored a
career-high 32 points on 13-of-23 shooting and grabbed seven boards
in the Golden Grizzlies' overtime win at Oregon. Against Syracuse,
Jones hit for 16 points and had five rebounds, four assists and
three steals. He capped the week at Iowa by turning in a 21-point
performance with five assists.
