ELMHURST, Ill. – UMKC's Dane Brumagin earned The Summit League's Player of the Week award after averaging 30 points, six rebounds and two steals in two contests last week. Brumagin opened the week with a 26-point performance against UTSA that included six rebounds, three assists and two steals. In his next outing, Brumagin posted a season-high 34 points on 12-of-19 shooting, including 3-for-5 from three-point range, to go along with six boards, two steals and an assist vs. SIU-Edwardsville while moving into sixth place on UMKC's career scoring list. Brumagin shot 55 percent (21-for-38) from the floor, 46 percent from beyond the arc (6-of-13) and 80 percent from the free throw line.
