WIU's Frisch, Clark Earn Weekly Awards

Frisch earns
Athlete of the Week honors after going undefeated in a pair of dual
meets last week. Against Coe College, he defeated Joey Lankelma at
No. 1 singles, 7-5, 6-2. He then teamed with Neil Lesinski at No. 1
doubles to beat Sam Zerbib and Elliot Rausa, 8-3. In a win over
Creighton, Frisch came from behind to defeat Nikita Dudar, 6-7
(5-7), 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. He and Lesinski also beat Dudar
and Joe Eckert, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles.

in a pair of duals last week. At No. 3 singles, she defeated Iowa
State's Chrissy Derouin, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2, and Creighton's Sarah
Cadwallader, 6-2, 6-3. She has recorded three singles victories in
a row. At No. 2 doubles, Clark and Yana Meinert dropped both their
matches, 8-4.
