MEN

Veneklase earns Athlete of the Week honors after winning two events and placing fourth in one other at the Michigan Open last week. The junior won both the 100 free (46.93) and 200 free (1:43.05), and placed fourth in the 50 free (21.82). All three times were season bests and rank seventh, fifth and 10th, respectively, in The Summit League this season.

Hoffman claims Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after posting three second-place times in The Summit League at the Minnesota Challenge last weekend. She was part of the first-place 800 free relay team that finished in 8:00.23. She also placed second in the 200 back (2:07.25), third in the 100 back (59.61), seventh in the 500 free (5:21.74) and ninth in the 50 free (25.00). Her times in the 100 back, 200 back and 800 free relay all rank second in The Summit League this season, while her 50 free time ranks ninth.
