ORU's Bain, NDSU's Hermanson Collect Athlete of the Week Awards

Bain
garners his second Male Athlete of the Week award this season after
placing first in both the 200-meter and 400-meter runs last week at
the Iowa State Classic. His time of 46.53 in the 400 was an
automatic qualifying time and is currently ranked No. 1 in the
nation. In the 200, Bain crossed the line in 21.37, provisionally
qualifying him in that event. Both times are tops in the league
this season.

Hermanson
earns her third Female Athlete of the Week honor this season after
collecting a provisional qualifying time of 2:07.41 in the
800-meter run at the Iowa State Classic last week. She finished in
fifth place out of 86 runners in the event and is tops in The
Summit League this season. Hermanson also helped the distance
medley relay team to a fourth-place finish with a time of 11:44.31
and a second-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay
(3:45.80).
