ORU's Bonde, NDSU's Hermanson Collect Athlete of the Week Honors

MEN

Marvin Bonde, Oral Roberts

Fr., Zimbabwe

Bonde earns the Male Athlete of the Week award after his first-place finish in the 60-meter dash at the Sooner Invitational last week in Norman, Okla. He crossed the finish line in 6.75, .01 shy of the NCAA provisional qualifying mark. That time is also first in The Summit League this season.

Laura Hermanson, North Dakota State

Jr., Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS

Hermanson collects her fourth Female Athlete of the Week honor this season after competing at the U.S. Indoor Track & Field Championships last week in Boston. She placed eighth in the 800-meter run with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:07.39. Her time broke her own school record in the event and is also tops in The Summit League this season.
