Sosa earns
Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after
going 2-0 in singles play last week. He picked up the only win for
the Jags in a 6-1 loss to No. 64 Michigan State, defeating Scott
Rasmussen, 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (6) at No. 2 singles. Against the
University of Indianapolis, Sosa moved up to No. 1 singles
and beat Jan Stastny, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (4). Sosa and partner Gabriel
Garcia dropped both of their matches at No. 1 doubles by a score of
3-8.

receives Athlete of the Week honors after winning both her singles
and doubles matches in a dual at Bradley last week. She moved up
from No. 3 singles to get a Mastodon win at No. 2 singles,
defeating Jess Buterbaugh, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. At No. 1 doubles, Coulson
and partnet Stacy Lish beat Buterbaugh and Kelly Donohue,
8-3.
