earns Athlete of the Week honors after winning both his singles and
doubles matches against Grambling last week. At No. 4 singles, he
defeated Darius Montgomery, 6-1, 6-1. He then teamed with Oscar
Medellin at No. 2 doubles to shut out Montgomery and Jared Evans,
8-0.

receives Athlete of the Week honors after going 2-1 at No. 4
singles last week. She blanked Dominican's Ann Truong, 6-0, 6-0,
and defeated San Jose State's Jennifer Williams, 6-3, 6-4, earning
the T-Birds' only win of the meet. She then fell to Colorado
State's Caitlin Fluegge, 6-1, 6-4. She teamed with Martha Kruk at
No. 2 doubles to shut out Dominican's Truong and Jessica Miller.
The pair dropped their matches vs. SJSU and CSU. SUU is 5-2, its
best start since the 1999-2000 season.
