Flowers earns Player of the Week honors after leading Centenary to a pair of Summit League sweeps over UMKC and Oakland last week. She hit .412 (7-of-17) over the six games and posted an .882 slugging percentage and .524 on-base percentage. In the first game against UMKC, she blew the game open with a three-run homer in the seventh inning and walked with the bases loaded in game three against the Kangaroos and in game one against Oakland. Flowers also blasted a two-run homer for the game-winning runs in game three against Oakland. She had seven RBI and scored four times on the week as the Ladies are a perfect 9-0 in league play.

Highsmith receives Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up a pair of saves while the Ladies went 6-0 last week. She was dominant in relief, posting a 0.00 earned run average in four appearances, surrendering just one hit, while striking out seven. She pitched three shutout innings to earn a save against UMKC to begin the week. Leading 2-0 against Oakland, she entered in the sixth inning and recorded a crucial bases-loaded strikeout to get out of the jam. She then tossed a scoreless seventh for her second save of the week. Highsmith currently leads The Summit League with five saves, while the next closest player has just one.
