SDSU's Grantz, SUU's Drynova Earn Tennis Weekly Awards

earns Athlete of the Week honors after running his singles win
streak to seven with five victories during the team's Spring Break
trip to Florida. At No. 4 singles, he earned victories against
Siena, Wisconsin-La Crosse, Wagner, Grinnell and Taylor. He and
partner Brian Hylle also posted a 4-1 record at No. 2 doubles, with
their only loss coming against Wisconsin-La Crosse. South Dakota
State went 3-2 in the five duals to improve to 4-8 on the
season.

receives Athlete of the Week honors after going 3-1 in singles and
4-0 in doubles to lead Southern Utah to a 3-1 record at The Summit
League Cluster last weekend in Tulsa, Okla. At No. 2 singles, the
freshman defeated Centenary's Lindsey Ezell, IUPUI's Allison
Thompson and Western Illinois' Kim Lennartsson. Her only loss came
at the hands of Oral Roberts' Hayden Rush. At No. 1 doubles, she
and partner Kirrily Burden went undefeated. SUU's win against IUPUI
was the team's first since the 2001 season, while the Thunderbirds'
8-3 start is the best in school history.
