WIU's Ragee-Nelson, Oakland's Grimmer Earn Weekly Awards

Ragee-Nelson
earns Male Athlete of the Week honors after going 5-0 in singles
and 1-0 in doubles last week to help the Leathernecks secure the
top seed in the upcoming league championship and their first-ever
regular-season title. At No. 4 singles, he defeated Lewis'
Christian Nunez and Centenary's Gerardo Lozano. He also beat IPFW's
Arturo Salgago, South Dakota State's Cody Malik and Oral Roberts'
Clemons Geercken at No. 5 singles. On the week, he only dropped 12
games in 10 sets of singles play. At No. 2 doubles, he paired with
Martin Boström to defeat SDSU's Brian Hylle and Steve
Grantz.

receives Athlete of the Week honors after picking up Oakland's only
victory in a 6-1 dual-match loss at Dayton last week. At No. 1
singles, the junior came from behind to defeat Allysa Detroy, 5-7,
7-6, 10-6. At. No. 1 doubles, she paired with Michelle Maxfield to
drop a close match, 8-6, to Detroy and Megan Gray.
