ORU's Bonde, SDSU's Masters Named Athletes of the Week

MEN

Marvin Bonde, Oral Roberts

Bonde earns Male Athlete of the Week honors after winning the 100-meter dash last week at the John Jacobs Invitational hosted by Oklahoma with an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 10.23. His time in the 100 meters is currently sixth-fastest in the nation. Bonde also helped ORU to a second-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay with a league-leading time of 40.90.

WOMEN

Andrea Masters, South Dakota State

Sr., Graettinger, Iowa/Graettinger HS

Masters collects the Female Athlete of the Week award after posting an NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the high jump at the Bison Open last week. Her jump of 1.76m improved her league-leading mark in the event and also was good enough for first place at the meet.
